PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output control circuit that controls production of an output from an electronic device. SOLUTION: The output control circuit that controls production of an output from the electronic device provided with a couple of output terminals according to a voltage between a couple of the terminals varying with a device connected to the output terminals, is provided with a detector 3 that detects a voltage between a couple of the terminals and with a switch section 4 that controls production of an output from the output terminals. The switch section controls production of an output from the output terminals on the basis of a result of detection by the detector.
