PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily identify the aspect of the full body of a visitor. SOLUTION: Concerning the video intercom system composed of an entrance slave set 1 installed outdoors, a base unit 2 installed indoors and a recording unit 3 connected to the entrance slave set 1 and the base unit 2 for dividing, displaying and reproducing the video of the entrance on a monitor 22 of the base unit 2, the recording unit is provided with a timer 35 for setting time for recording the video of the entrance at intervals, a counter 36 for setting the number of times of recording for recording the video of the entrance (n) times ((n) is a positive integer of 2 or larger) and a tilt signal generator 33 for generating a tilt signal for tilting a camera over (n) image pickup positions at set time intervals.
