PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and FAX equipment, with which the deceleration of a speed for transferring an image can be suppressed and the cost of a main body can be reduced, by transferring the image from the side of a receiving function part to the side of a printing function part without interrupting a CPU. SOLUTION: A FAX equipment 1 transfers the image stored in a first memory 12 to a second memory 22 by DMA processing. At such a time, a first CPU 11 makes a second CPU 21 relinquish the right to use a bus. An image transfer part 4 fetches the image stored in the first memory 12 while using a serial bus, prepares a write address to the second memory 22 or control signal such as write enable signal in the manner of hardware and writes the said image in the second memory 22.
