PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching amplifier from which a desired frequency band and a desired dynamic range can be obtained. SOLUTION: The delta sigma modulation circuit of this switching amplifier is provided with a feedback loop that negatively feeds back a constant voltage pulse. A delay compensation circuit consisting of parallel connection of a series circuit comprising a delay device 22 and a multiplier 21 and a series circuit comprising delay devices 24, 25 and a multiplier 23 is provided in the feedback loop. Thus, the delay time caused at switching of a power amplifier element can be cancelled.
