PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ECU housing structure having an electromagnetic wave shielding function, a sealing function and a heat insulating function for disposing an ECU in an automobile. SOLUTION: The ECU housing structure comprises a container 2 having a polymer layer 21 and a metal layer 22, and a core material 3 and an elastic member 4 disposed in an insertion port 2a formed at the container 2 and sealed in the container 2. Thus, the structure takes all countermeasures against electromagnetic waves, heat, dusts and water, and can be safely disposed in an engine room.
