PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of a sensor in an optical fiber photoelectric sensor, by preventing occurrence of offset in relative position of an light emitting and receiving elements and an optical fiber even if the sensor is stressed by external force, owing to the elevated stiffness of the sensor in a whole. SOLUTION: A light emitting element 60 and a receiving element 61 are mounted to an incorporated base 40 which is contained in and fixed to the unside of a sensor case 30. Optical fibers of the emitting side and the receiving side 3, 4 are fixed to the incorporated base 40 in such a manner that the optical fibers are settled on the same optical axis as those of the elements 60, 61. By this means, the holder is commonly used without offset of relative position between the elements 60, 61 and the optical fibers 3, 4 with elevated stiffness and accuracy of the sensor with a lowered fabrication cost.
