PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation sheet for liquid crystal material which causes no coloring of a screen in the case when the screen is seen in an oblique direction and which does not necessitate any specific alignment layer material, any specific alignment operation, any complicated layer structure or the like and of which the productivity is high and to provide a method of manufacturing thereof, and a liquid crystal display device utilizing the same. SOLUTION: The optical compensation sheet is characterized by having at least a kind of liquid crystal compound with negative dielectric anisotropy (Δε) and at least a kind of liquid crystal compound with positive dielectric anisotropy (Δε) on a supporting body. |
