摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated electronic component and a manufacturing method thereof, where the generation of any short-circuiting faultiness and the reduction of any insulating resistance can be suppressed, by preventing the major sides of the inner electrodes of the laminated material thereof present at its upper and lower ends from protruding more outwardly than the major sides of its inner electrodes present its central portion along its laminated direction. SOLUTION: This laminated electronic component has a laminated material 35 where a plurality of ceramic layers 31 and a plurality of rectangular inner electrodes 33 having major sides 33a and minor sides 33b are laminated alternately and has end-face ceramic layers 36, 37 formed on the upper and lower surfaces of the laminated material 35. In the laminated material 35 of the laminated electronic component, the major sides 33a of the inner electrodes 33 present in its central portion along its laminated direction are protruded by 20-70μm farther outwardly than the major sides 33a of its inner electrodes 33 present at its upper and lower ends.
