TONER AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner in which aggregation of the toner or contamination of the photoreceptor surface or toner carrying body or its surface by the toner is suppressed, and to provide an image forming device using that toner. SOLUTION: The toner contains toner particles containing at least a binder resin, wax and inorganic fine particles having 0.01 to 2μm number average particle size, and fine particles of an external additive. The THF-soluble component of the toner in the mol.wt. distribution measured by gel permeation chromatography(GPC) shows the main peak in the mol.wt. region from 3×103 to 3×104 and a subpeak or shoulder in the mol.wt. region from 1×105 to 3×106. The endothermic curve by DSC measurement of the toner shows an endothermic peak in each temperature region of from 60 to 120 deg.C and from 130 to 160 deg.C. The image forming device uses the aforementioned toner.
