JOINTING METHOD OF SUPERCONDUCTOR AND SUPERCONDUCTOR JOINTING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of realizing an oxide superconductor jointing member superior in current carrying without using a special complicated means. SOLUTION: A final setting position with solder is determined not to close a current flowing path between joined superconducting base materials by setting layout position of the solder at 'a position to form a bridge to a face excluding butt faces of the base materials' or the like, or providing joint faces of the superconducting base materials with 'the shape of inclined opened surfaces separated from each other at least at a part of the butt faces of the base materials' or the like to obtain a joint member shown in Fig. 5 in jointing oxide superconductors with 'solder composed of an oxide superconducting material'. Further, the oxide superconductor jointing member is made to have 'a structure that the base materials are jointed through the oxide superconducting material as a jointing material on their faces at least excluding their butt faces'.
