PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level correcting processor, capable of reducing vertical stripes by eliminating inconvenience of the vertical stripes by detecting and removing a signal level difference caused by the characteristic variation of each channel such as a channel A/a channel B simultaneously while correcting a black level. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with means 1001 and 1005 for separating the pixel signal of each CDS processing, a means 101 for detecting the black signal level of a blanking periods by each CDS processing signal (pixel signal) and a means 108 subtracting the detected blanking period black signal from the pixel signal in an effective area by each CDS processing signal, detects and removes the signal level difference, which is caused by the characteristic variations in each channel, to eliminate the nonconformities of the vertical stripes.
