PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict and calculate an access time between each command at a high speed in a command execution order controlling method for changing a command execution order and a disk device so that the access time can be minimized. SOLUTION: This disk device is provided with a disk 6, a head 4, an actuator 3, and a control part 19. An access time between each command stored in a command queue buffer 19-1 and a command which is being executed is calculated by using a seek time table 190 and a sector position table 191. Thus, the access time can be quickly calculated by referring to the table. Also, the table value of the seek time table 190 is automatically measured and corrected for each device and environment. Thus, the seek time table value with seek performance corresponding to the device and environment can be obtained.
