PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measuring device with high distance measuring accuracy by converting an integrated signal into a distance signal corresponding to distance with a different conversion expression based on whether the number of times of output of clamping signals as an output signal of a clamping means when an output ratio signals are integrated is more than the number of set times or not. SOLUTION: The reflected light of a luminous flux projected to a distance measuring object is received, a far side signal and a near side signal are outputted, the far side signal is compared with a clamping signal previously set, the larger signal is outputted from the clamping means, the ratio of the outputted signal to the near side signal is operated to find an output ratio signal, output ratio signals obtained every light projection of the a light projection means are integrated to obtain an integrated signal, and when integrated, on the basis of whether the number of times of output of the clamping signals as the output signal of the clamping means is more than the number of set times or not (S10), the integrated signal is converted into a distance signal corresponding to the distance with different expressions (S12, S14).
