PURPOSE: A safekeeping device for reciprocating and revolving urns is provided to minimize the expenses required for a funeral, to simplify condolatory calls by letting condolers find out urns of the deceased easily and to improve environment around a graveyard. CONSTITUTION: The safekeeping device for reciprocating and revolving urns comprises a cylindrical revolving body(12) rotated by reduction motors(M,M') and chains(C,C') on a central fixed shaft supported by a support plate(10), a pair of urns placed around the revolving body(12) by a pipe bar to be guided to cases, an operating hole of a reciprocating bar reciprocated by a motor attached to the central fixed shaft, an operating door(15) formed on the corresponding parts to a repository of the urns, and a semicircular bearing member(14) having many casters(13) formed on the lower part of the revolving body(12) to prevent an operating door(15) from opening when the cylindrical revolving body(12) rotates.
