PURPOSE: Provided are an apparatus and a method for gathering water on sectional water level of underground water during boring a stratum from top portion by determining whether the water inflows into a deep well bored. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a cylindrical circumferential portion(27) having different opposite concave grooves(26) at a water pouring pipe(2') on a flange(20'); an upper and a lower plates(29) mounted at lower side of the portion(27) and having another concave grooves(28,28') corresponding to the grooves(26,26'); air-flowing hole(31) and air-inlet(33); an expansion tube(21) around the portion(27); a cover(40) to cover the grooves(28,28') with corking material and a bolt(38) to secure the cover; a core well pump and a motor; several switches to divide sections of water level of the underground water.
