NON-CONTACT DATA CARRIER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of using a member to which a non- contact carrier is attached in a main body device on the optimum condition in a non-contact data carrier system used in various ID systems. SOLUTION: The non-contact data carrier 6 incorporating a rewritable nonvolatile storage device 7 is attached to the member 2, and the main body device 4 using the member 2 is provided with a reader-writer 8. The information on the characteristics and use history of the member 2 is recorded in the storage device 7 of the carrier 6 by the reader-writer 8, a condition for using the member 2 of the main body device 4 is found by reading those information with the reader-writer 8 before using the member 2, and the member 2 is used on the optimum condition.
