PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent multiple reflections inside a module of stray light components. SOLUTION: In an optical transmitting/receiving module, in a module package 1 of which an optical waveguide 3, an optical transmitting element 4 and an optical receiving element 7 are incorporated, at least the inner surface of the module package 1 and at least the reverse surface of the package cover 9 are formed with the coating of a light-absorbing material 10, that absorbs stray light which does not couple with the optical waveguide 3. |
