PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the identity recognizing method of a holding card in which operability is improved when the card held in an automatic transaction device is returned by an instruction from a concentrated monitoring system and time required when the card is returned to a customer is shortened. SOLUTION: When the card is returned from the automatic transaction device 2 by the instruction from the concentrated monitoring system 4, card embossment information of the returned card is obtained from the automatic transaction device 2 and the identity of the card is recognized based on card embossment information. |
