<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To run a magnetic tape with respect to a magnetic head in a stable manner, and to prolong the life of a battery. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a magnetic head 3, and a head holder 4, to which the magnetic head 3 is attached. The head holder 4 is provided with an attaching part 9 for attaching the magnetic head 3 by facing a magnetic tape sliding surface 8 to the traveling path of a magnetic tape 2, and a pair of guiding parts 10 and 11 positioned in both sides of the attaching part 9, and formed integrally to travel the magnetic tape 2 to the magnetic tape sliding surface 8 of the magnetic tape 3. The guiding parts 10 and 11 are provided with a pair of side guiding pieces 16 and 23 for holding both side edges of the magnetic tape 2 to travel, and base parts 17 and 24 for connecting these side guiding pieces 16 and 23, and at least one base part 24 is formed at a height to be held in non-contact with its tip part and the magnetic tape 2.</p> |
