PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid plunger which applies sharp and stable liquid- tight action to a valve seat and is made light-weight. SOLUTION: In this solenoid plunger 60, a large-diameter part 61 and a small-diameter part 62 are mutually formed into a unified body on the same axial line, and a tip part surface 63 is set on the valve seat 80 in a liquid-tight state. The large-diameter part 61 consists of a hollow recessed part 43 and a sidewall part 90 surrounding the hollow recessed part 43. The small-diameter part 62 consists of a vacant part 65 and a sidewall part 91 surrounding the vacant part 65. The sidewall part 91 consists of an inner wall part 92 and an outer wall part 93, and the tip parts of the sidewall part 91 are mutually converged on the central part.
