PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of an illegal cut graphic by automatically discriminating the suitability of cut information when removing the copper foil layer of a pattern or land by preparing the cut information. SOLUTION: Before generating cut information, a minimum value X of remaining patterns required for a pattern 1 to become a cut object is set. Afterwards, a cut pattern 3 corresponding to the pattern 1 is generated by the cut information. The cut pattern 3 is synthesized to the pattern 1, a minimum value W of remaining patterns to be really formed by a cut is calculated and this minimum value W is compared with the minimum value X. When the compared result becomes X>W>0, it is judged the cut is not suitable, error display processing is performed and the re-entry of cut data is called. When the compared result becomes W=0, it is stored connection information 1f is cut. When the compared result becomes W>X, it is judged the cut is proper.
