摘要 PURPOSE: A method of measuring surface cleanness of steel plate is provided to achieve quality improvement of products by measuring thickness of pollution layer through the measurement of intensity of reflected laser light. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of measuring a reference laser intensity by the signal output from a first optical detector, a second step of measuring the intensity of regular reflection light by the signal output from a second optical detector; and a third step of obtaining the thickness of pollution layer in accordance with a predetermined formula. An apparatus for the method includes an optical divider(2) for dividing the laser radiated onto a steel plate(4) from a laser source(1); a first optical detector(3) for detecting the laser reflected from the optical divider; a second optical detector(6) for detecting the laser passed through the optical divider, radiated onto the steel plate and focused by a focus lens(5); a multiple input/output board(7) for receiving signals output from optical detectors, and performing analog/digital conversion; and an operation unit(8) for performing arithmetic operation to the signal output from the first optical detector.
