PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both rotational deflection and shift deflection from an image signal. SOLUTION: This deflection detecting device is provided with a light receiving means for detecting an image signal to an individual object in respective plural areas, a judging means for judging from the image signal obtained from each area whether or not a short distance object and a long distance object coexist, and calculating means S2-S6 which determine individually deflection data by using the image signal from the are where the short distance object exists and the image signal from the area where the long distance object exists when the judging means judges that both objects coexist, and which calculates rotational deflection and shift deflection based on these deflection data. |
