PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic microscope by which plural observers can simultaneously perform observation, and an optimum observation position can be selected and observed while the observers can take the various kinds of observing styles. SOLUTION: As to this stereoscopic microscope by which plural observers can simultaneously perform observation, and the observing direction of at least one observer can be changed, the relative observing positions of observers can be changed with each other in a condition where a specified observing direction is kept. This microscope has an objective lens 1, and lens barrel optical systems 8 and 9 arranged behind the lens 1 and including a pair of an image forming lens and an eyepiece lens, and also has at least two optical members 5 and 7 between the lens 1 and the systems 8 and 9 which are provided with rotating mechanisms and whose polarizing surfaces rotate, so that the relative observing position of the observers can be changed with each other.
