摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure between an optical waveguide circuit board and an optical fiber array, a structure that facilitates adjustment of optical axes in joining the optical fiber array. SOLUTION: This optical waveguide circuit board 5 has an optical waveguide circuit, having an input/output port at the end of the circuit board 1 is formed on the board 1 and that an optical waveguide 4 for adjusting optical axes (adjusting waveguide) is also formed having at the end an optical input and output ports arranged in a prescribed positional relation with the optical input/ output port, while the optical fiber array 9 is such that optical fibers 7, which correspond to the optical input/output port of the optical waveguide circuit and the optical axis adjusting fibers 8 (adjusting fibers), which correspond to each of the optical input and output ports of the adjusting waveguide 4, are arranged in the prescribed positional relation as desorbed. The connecting structure between the optical waveguide circuit board 5 and the optical fiber array 9 are such that the two are connected, with the optical axes aligned between those of the optical input and output ports of the adjusting waveguide 4 and those of the adjusting fibers 8.
