PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a resistivity meter preventing penetration of an electrolyte as an object to be measured into the inside for reducing problems caused in measurement. SOLUTION: The electrode 1 for the resistivity meter is provided with an internal electrode 2, an external electrode 3, a supporting part 4, an internal electrode lead wire 6, an external electrode lead wire 7 and the like. The supporting part 4 supporting base end parts 2f, 3b of the electrodes 2, 3 is provided with a base end cap 12. The base end cap 12 is provided with a circular hole 12c. The lead wires 6, 7 connected to the electrodes 2, 3 individually are bundled together so as to constitute an electric wire bundle 26. The electric wire bundle 26 is passed through the circular hole 12c to be led to the outside. The electrode 1 is also provided with an O-ring 30 maintaining fluid-tightness between the electric wire bundle 26 and the supporting part 4.
