PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor generator for vehicle in which an auxiliary machine can be driven through the motor generator. SOLUTION: An auxiliary machine can be driven through a motor generator 4 even in a so-called economic running mode where an engine 2 is stopped at the time of stopping a vehicle and started at the time of starting the vehicle by turning an electromagnetic clutch 5 off under stopping state of engine.
