PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a break prevention technology suitable for a rotating tool, especially for a long and narrow end mill. SOLUTION: Whether an aspect ratio A is 20 and more or not is checked in a step ST04, and when the checked result is yes, the processing goes to a succeeding step. When the checked result is no, the processing goes to a step ST10. Whether a corner angleθis 90 deg. and less or not is checked in a step ST06, and when the answer is yes, the processing goes to a succeeding step. When the answer is no, the processing goes to the step ST10. In a step ST08, a V shaped speed diagram read out in a step STO2 is processed to prepare an isosceles trapezoid type speed diagram. In a step STO9, cutting work is executed. Since the application of the isosceles trapezoid type speed diagram requiring long time for processing is limited only to the case that the aspect ratio is 20 and more and the corner angle is 90 deg. and less and the V shaped speed diagram requiring only a short time for processing is applied to the other case, the increment of total processing time can be suppressed and the productivity of a high level can be maintained.
