PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the count of photons, detected by aγray detector, from varying for every pixel. SOLUTION: In a state where a radioactive medicine having properties being taken into the internal organs 4 of a specimen 3 is given to the specimen 3, aγray detector is turned about a rotary axis C by a unit angle at a time andγrays, emitted from the radioactive medicine, is collected by theγray detector 1 at each unit angle. A region for collectingγrays is set at each unit angle from the position of the detecting plane ofγray detector 1 detectedγrays and the count of photons is set for every pixel in the collection region. When the count of photons exceeds a set value for all pixels in the collection region, collection ofγrays is ended at that angle and transition is made to collection ofγrays at next angle.
