PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and accurately input and process slip data by using the name of a commodity without directly changing the name of the commodity set and stored in a commodity file. SOLUTION: This processor is provided with a commodity code input means, a copy commodity name generating and controlling means, a copying commodity name display control means, a character related additional input means, a changed copy commodity name control means, a changed copy commodity name display and control means and an inputting processing control means. While selecting the commodity name corresponding to a commodity code inputted after retrieving the commodity file, a copy commodity name being the copy of the selected commodity name is formed in the state of being capable of generating and displaying on a display part, a changed copy commodity name changed by adding an additionally inputted character in connection with characters constituting the displayed copy commodity name can be generated and displayed on the display part, and the generated and displayed changed copy commodity name can be input-processed as the slip data.
