摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solidification method of radioactive waste for minimizing the exposure of workers in moving radioactive waste stored underwater to a storage vessel or a vessel for disposal and efficiently moving. SOLUTION: In this solidification method, underwater-stored waste in a storage pool to be a contained mater moves on the bottom plate having a sufficient thickness put on the storage pool bottom, partition plates are placed on the bottom plate surrounding the moved waste, and solidification agent for solidifying waste inside part partitioned with the bottom plate and the partition plate. In the underwater storage waste solidification method, the height of the partition plate is made higher than the depth of the storage pool and made higher than the water level rise by adding the solidification agent. After the waste is completely covered with the solidification agent, water accumulated on the solidification agent inside the partition plates is drained into the pool by using the draining device having a pump and a filter.
