MULTIPLE OPTICAL FIBER CORD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-core optical fiber cord which is optimal as a jumper cord for conversion for connecting a multi-core fiber connector and a single- core connector. SOLUTION: This multi-core optical fiber cord is longitudinally attached with a plurality of single-core optical fiber cords 1, each consisting of a coated optical fiber 2, a first tension member 4 consisting of fibers 3 longitudinal attached thereto and a first coating layer 5 for coating the coated optical fiber 2 and the first tension member 4. Second tension members 7 consisting of fibers 6 are attached longitudinally to a plurality of a single-core optical fiber cords 1 and the circumferences of a plurality of the single core optical fiber cords 1 and the tension members 7 are provided with a second coating layer 8.
