PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption of energy for heating a sheet shape of heated media and prevent temperature of non-communicating area of a heating member from excessively rising, in a heating device comprising the rotatable heating member, pressing member being pressing the heating member to form a nip and rotating along with the heating member, a first heating means for heating the nip, and a second heating means for heating the heating member at upstream position of the nip. SOLUTION: The second heating means 360 is divided into a central heat emitter 360M and both left and right-side heat emitters 360L, 360R, and temperature distribution of the heating member 30 in a rotating direction (A) can be adjusted and only desired sites can be heated according to a size of the sheet shape of heated media.
