PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch with a high sensitivity capable of detecting minute movement of young fry or the like and an automatic feeder equipped with the switch. SOLUTION: The switch 10 comprises a fixed contact 12 supported by a case 11, a movable contact piece 13 equipped with a contact 13a facing the contact 12, a pressing piece 15 which is movably supported by the case 11 and pushes the piece 13 toward the contact 12, and a drive piece 16 which is supported movably in rocking motion by the case 11 through a hinge 16a and pushes the piece 15. The piece 13 is supported by a shock absorber 14 made of viscoelastic resin. The piece 16 is fitted with an adjusting weight 19. The automatic feeder is equipped with the above switch 10 and a feeder 25.
