PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely supply a refrigerant to an evaporator even immediately after a compressor turns OFF and thereby to avoid a sudden rise of the temperature of the evaporator. SOLUTION: An orifice 33 making a high-pressure-side passage part 14 communicate with a low-pressure-side passage part 15 is provided apart from a communication passage 16. This orifice 33 is closed up by a closing part 35 of a movable member 34 when the communication passage 16 is opened. When a compressor 2 stops and a low-pressure line comes to be under high pressure, an operating rod 27 moves in the direction of the axis thereof and a valve disk 31 closes up the communication passage 16. At the same time, the valve disk 31 comes into contact with a valve seat 30 formed in the movable member 34 and presses the movable member 34. Therefore the movable member 34 moves in the direction of the axis of the operating rod 27 and the closing part 35 thereof detaches from the orifice 33. Then a refrigerant passes from the high-pressure-side passage part 14 to the low-pressure-side passage part 15 through the orifice 33.
