PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify transportation of granular material, interrupt a granule flow, and ensure air-tightness between a supply conduit and a discharge conduit. SOLUTION: This cutoff cock of a ball cock type is formed by a casing 4, a casing flowing passage having an inflow section 5 and a discharge flow section 6, and a cutoff spherical body 7 having a cutoff spherical body flowing passage 8. The inflow section 5 thrusts into the cutoff spherical body flowing passage 8, and the cutoff spherical body flowing passage 8 is so constructed that in closing the ball cock, a portion of the inflow section 5 thrusting in the cutoff spherical body flowing passage 8 is received in a slit of the cutoff spherical body 7.
