PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of an operator in an image scanner which converts and transmits the image of a slip, based on conversion data that a communication opposite party desires by transmission and retransmission. SOLUTION: First, at transmitting of the image of a slip, a numbering printing circuit 33 functions, it gives a processing number to the slip and transmits the processing number at the same time as that, when the image is transmitted to the communication opposite party. The communication opposite party transmits conversion data for converting the processing number and the image to the image scanner device and informs a reception circuit 34 of this. The processing number and conversion data are displayed on a monitor 35. The operator sets conversion data in a drop-out color conversion circuit 25 to a gradation conversion table 30 at retransmission, searches the slip corresponding to the processing number and sets it in the image scanner device. Thus, the image of the slip is converted by conversion data that the communication opposite party desires.
