PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning optical system with a correcting function capable of plotting while correcting a plotting state different for every facet of a hologram disk into a desired plotting state even at the time of scanning on a plotting screen by any facet with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The scanning optical system with a correcting function is provided with a hologram disk 1 having plural facets 1A-1D for deflecting incident laser beams, and for scanning them to a main scanning direction on a plotting screen, driving means 3 and 4 for rotating the hologram disk 1 at a fixed speed, and plural optical elements 2A-2D arranged at the positions faced to the plural facets 1A-1D of the hologram disk 1. In this case, the plural optical elements 2A-2D are rotated synchronously with the hologram disk 1 so that the deviation of the scanning tracks on the plotting screen of the laser beams can be corrected for each facet 1A-1D.
