PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more comfortable air conditioning space to a user by allowing an air conditioner to cope with abnormality and promptly notify the user the abnormality as well as failure in the case where such abnormality or failure occurs in a humidity sensor or a detection signal processing circuit of the humidity sensor. SOLUTION: When humidity detected by the humidity sensor becomes not less than or not more than a given value, determination is made that failure has occurred in the humidity sensor or its detection signal processing circuit to conduct air control for a given period of time by every set level of humidity. Also, in such a case, indication of 'high humidity' or 'dehumidification required' is made at a humidity display. Subsequently, the humidity display is changed to a time mode through which a humidity difference indicating means indicates, after lapse of a given time, that 'a set humidity has been reached' or 'the current humidity is close to the set value'. |
