PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a photoelectric surface forming evaporation source and X-ray image tube which unifies a film thickness distribution of a thin film forming a photoelectric surface and enhances a brightness maintenance of a X-ray image tube. SOLUTION: The photoelectric surface forming evaporation resource comprises a heating element 17a for generating a heat and a Sb layer 17b evaporated by the heat of the heating element 17a and forming a photoelectric surface, wherein at least a partially prescribed area of a surface of the heating element 17a is formed by a set of curves and the Sb layer 17b is coated on the prescribed area.
