PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact tilt angle detection sensor consisting of a small number of components that enables stably detecting tilt angle in different directions with high efficiency of position adjustment without needing initial adjustment of the relative position. SOLUTION: A sensor comprises detection switches arranged in opposite directions with a magnetic shield plate 65 interposed between them in rectangular chambers 61. The detection switch comprises a lead switch 62 with a contact centrally arranged in a rectangular chamber 61, an annular permanent magnet 63 arranged near the lead switch 62 to turn on/off its contact, and a oil spring 64 biasing the permanent magnet 63 movably in the uniaxial direction. The detection switch reacts depending upon the tilting state in both directions. The biasing force of the spring 64 and the weight of the permanent magnet 63 may be variably set to react at a desired tilt angle, or at the vibration by a desired impact.
