PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and/or reproducing device which prevents generation of fabrication errors and allows high precision production, miniaturization, accurate scanning of a recording track of a disk and recording and reproducing of an exact information signal. SOLUTION: A head part 16 on which a head element 13 which scans a signal recording region of the disk 1 is disposed is supported on a supporting arm 9 through an electromechanical transducing element 17 which is formed by a gas disk position method. The head part 16 consists of a head element part 14 and a slider part 15 which are mutually separated, the head element part 14 and the slider part 15 are connected by the electromechanical transducing element 17 and supported on the supporting arm 9 via the electromechanical transducing element 17.
