PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the interruption of reproduced audio signals at the time of high-speed reproduction. SOLUTION: At the time of high-speed reproduction, the operation of reproducing four sectors after jumping a prescribed part P(6-1) for the prescribed number of tracks is repeated. When the part P(6-2) recording information following the part P(6-1) is arranged discretely to the part P(6-1), at the time of the high- speed reproduction, at the point of time of ending the reproduction of the part P(6-1), the start point of the next part P(6-2) is retrieved. In the case that a reproduction point is within the range of the part P(6-2), when the position is within the range of a reference value T0, the high-speed reproduction is restarted from the position without detecting the start point of the part P(6-2).
