PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device equipped with constitution capable of forming an image of plural colors and excellent in productivity without getting large. SOLUTION: In this image forming device equipped with the constitution capable of forming the image of plural colors by superposing the images primarily transferred to an intermediate transfer body 30 from a latent image carrier 20 on the transfer body 30 and then secondarily transferring the image to a sheet s such as recording paper, the intermediate transfer body is constituted of a belt 30, and image forming blocks 2 forming the images of the color- separated colors on the carrier 20 are arranged to be distributed on both sides of the developed and stretched surfaces of the belt 30 facing while putting the winding parts 30A and 30B of the belt 30 in between.
