PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a photosensitive planographic printing plate which makes the control value by conductivity replenishment constant even under any processing conditions regardless of the various values of a processing amount, eliminates the laboriousness of a service engineer and user in changing a control value according to the processing amount and can enhance the accuracy of replenishment control. SOLUTION: The method for processing the photosensitive planographic printing plate by a substantially hermetically closed developing device consists in replenishing a development replenishing liquid according to the conductivity of a developer. In this method, the processing is executed by confining the concentration of carbonic acid ions in the developer to <=3,500 ppm or the processing is executed by confining the concentration of gaseous carbonic acid in a developing section to <=150 ppm. |
