PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device imparting natural feeling to a link between chapters and perform non-stop reproducing. SOLUTION: A control means 7 overlaps a top part of the next sound data stored in an internal storage means 10 such as an HDD on the end part of the sound data while reproducing to output them, and then, by fadeing-out or fadeing-in respective sound data, the sound data are continuously reproduced while being cross-faded, and the chapters are non-stop linked naturally. The fade-out, fade-in are performed by controlling an amplification amount, attenuation amount of an attenuator, and its timing uses a P channel of a CD format, a PTT of a DVD format.
