PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase having enhanced drain water evaporation capacity. SOLUTION: Low temperature drain water drops onto the upper evaporation pan 60 of a drain water evaporator 6 and heated by a refrigerant pipe 62 to evaporate. When a large quantity of drain water flows in, the water level of drain water in the upper evaporation pan 60 is higher than a drain water inlet 60b and heated drain water drops onto the upper evaporation accelerating plate of a lower evaporation pan 61 through a drain outlet 60a. Drain water is absorbed into the upper evaporation accelerating plate through capillarity and evaporates from the surface thereof. When a large quantity of drain water drops, it is also absorbed into each vertical evaporation accelerating plate 63a and an intermediate evaporation accelerating plate 63c through the upper evaporation accelerating plate and evaporates from the surface thereof.
