PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin an iron plate used for lamination and to reduce iron loss by thinning in a conventional structure where the iron plates are laminated for suppressing eddy current in an electric motor. SOLUTION: An electric motor has a rotor 12 and stators 11 which are oppositely arranged against the rotor 12. The stator 11 or the rotor 12 is formed of an iron piece layered product. The iron piece layered product is laminated in the vertical direction and the lateral direction and a primary winding wire 15 is wound to the salient pole of the stator 11.
