PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray plane detector having good heat dissipation properties. SOLUTION: The X-ray plane detector comprises a section for converting incident X-rays into charges, an X-ray detecting section 11 comprising a pixel electrode provided for every pixel while touching the X-ray charge converting section, a switching element connected with the pixel electrode, a signal line connected with the switching element, and a scanning line for delivering a drive signal to the switching element, a section 12 for holding the X-ray detecting section 11, and a heat dissipating section 15 formed at the holding section 12.
