<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip resistor and its manufacturing method that can improve yield of the chip resistor, as a temperature coefficient of resistance can be controlled with a high degree of accuracy, and the temperature coefficient of resistance can be kept within a tolerable level. SOLUTION: A plurality of resistance layers 30, 40 are formed with a thick- film resistance material whose temperature coefficient of resistance is different, and the ratio of the resistance of each resistance layer 30, 40 is adjusted by trimming so that the synthetic TCR(temperature coefficient of resistance) of the whole chip resistor A may become a desired value.</p> |
